The welcome was as warm as a perfect afternoon tea, and breakfast featured a delightful array of fresh local produce. Rooms had notable charm, beautifully decorated with an atmosphere steeped in history.
Parking proved challenging during peak hours, and the steep stairs may pose difficulties for those with mobility issues. Soundproofing in rooms was limited, leading to some audible distractions.

Terry was super welcoming and the rooms were stylishly designed. Breakfast was a feast, hot and plentiful with options for everyone. The honesty bar and cozy lounge really felt like home. We loved the nearby friendly pub for great food.

Charming property with a luxurious vibe! Terri was a total gem, making everything easy-peasy. Loved the cozy lounge and fab breakfast – made mornings feel like a treat.
Those steep stairs might have me in a state of cardio overload! And don’t get me started on the bus schedule. it requires its own degree in patience!

the property is super cozy and beautiful, rooms are really comfy and clean. terri is an amazing host, greeted us with tea and scones, such a nice touch! breakfast had everything we could think of, fresh fruit, cereals, cooked options, it was delicous! loved the relaxed vibe and the courtyard is perfect for chilling. definitely worth more than 5 stars!
only downside was the slight road noise at night and parking was a bit tricky. overall, a minor thing compared to the great stay we had.
